At first look, the USA seems to offer an immense playground for ORWC practice. The reality is slightly different. For instance, property law makes the owner liable for any accident that occurs on his/her land. When one knows how much lawsuits have become a national sport there, it is easier to understand the reluctance to let ORWC wander everywhere they want… What remains are mostly ski resorts: many of them are even equipped for ORWC practice. Otherwise, you need to obtain the necessary authorisations. This is what allowed the 2 fabulous descents highlighted hereafter.
